After the success of the 2009 event, the FRF Mazda Gower Multisport Festival will be back on the 15th &16th May in 2010. The event will include a full distance Olympic Duathlon this year and has been awarded the honour of hosting the Welsh National Duathlon Championships. There will also be a sprint duathlon on the Saturday and of course, the amazing Rhossili Monster 10K on the Sunday.
The event is located in the beautiful village of Rhossili on the Gower Peninsula and will welcome duathletes and runners of all abilities. As well as the racing, participants are invited to start the weekend with our Friday evening pasta party and fantastic scenic views at the Worms Head Hotel.
The event is organised by an exciting new events group - Tri & Enter Events teamed-up with DB Max Events and supported by Prostate UK, FRF Mazda and Mymoti.
Duathletes often play second fiddle to their triathlete cousins during the British summer, but in 2009 that changed. The FRF Mazda Gower Multisport Festival introduces a high-end event focused on giving duathletes and runners a complete racing experience this May.
A pre-event pasta party and post event party along with competitor camping and one of the most spectacular bike and run courses you're ever likely to complete, makes this an unmissable event. The beautiful beaches and post race parties and fun races, offer an ideal opportunity to make a weekend of it for the whole family. This is guaranteed to become a ‘must do’ race for all the athletes that are lucky enough to secure an entry slot.
